This is a low-budget Internet documentary made by Shawna Halevy, in association with the (Lyndon) LaRouche Youth Movement.

The core of the video is a pedagogical workshop on the Theory of Special Relativity as part of the educational process conducted by the LaRouche youth leadership. Not for the sake of understanding the theory itself, but using Einstein’s particular discovery as a case study to demonstrate and walk people through real human thinking, as being something above sense perceptions or opinions.

It ends with reflecting on the principle of relativity in terms of social relations and individual identities or thought processes, asking the question – how was Einstein able to make his breakthrough?

NB: Even though the introductory clip builds expectations up a tad high, and the presentational skills may at first seem a bit mechanical. The documentary – as a whole – develops nicely and holds up till the end, and certainly gives an interesting and well articulated perspective on reality. While watching focus on the content and try to subdue the urge to understand everything at once.
